What is Restorative Yoga?
You will be guided to explore gentle, accessible ways to nourish the body through slow movement, restorative poses, self massage, breathing practices and meditation. Your body is placed in comfortable positions that are fully supported with props in order to allow a deep "let go" physically, mentally and emotionally. Long held poses give the bodily systems sufficient time to experience therapeutic benefits, break down stress hormones and come to a place of deep rest.
