Jessica

Jessica has completed her Diploma of Remedial massage and also completed short course studies in Shiatsu and Traditional Thai Massage. She has always loved the exchange of giving and receiving massages. After years of traveling and living overseas, she returned to Australia with a strong sense of her future vocation and focused her energy into the formal study of massage therapy. Jessica chose Remedial Massage therapy to provide a strong foundational knowledge of the physical body. From this base and her continued experience, she now combines remedial techniques with subtler and more holistic forms of bodywork. Jessica currently lives in the Yarra Valley, balancing her massage practice with her role of mother to her young child.

Jessica’s style is constantly evolving as she learns new techniques and approaches, fueled by her commitment to holistic body work. Her massage approach is nurturing and deeply supportive. Conscious therapeutic touch may provide the opportunity to explore emotions held within our physical bodies and the space to release and exhale. Jessica believes that human Touch can also provide a safe space to feel our body and emotions as a whole, fluid system, allowing the awareness of our deeper intelligence to arise in moments of stillness.

Jessica practices a relaxation style of remedial massage, combining slow deep tissue massage with other remedial techniques as well as more subtle forms of touch. Jessica’s calm and restorative massage style targets the Autonomic Nervous System, inviting a sense of calm and deep relaxation to each client, while also addressing specific areas of tension in the soft tissue.
