Amanda

Amanda has been a Doctor of Chinese Medicine for 21 years. She is a Registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal Medicine practitioner.

Amanda is originally from the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges. She completed her TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) training in London where she ran busy clinics for 13 years and was part of the London College of Traditional Acupuncture teaching team.

In 2017 she returned to the Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne’s eastern outskirts, where she practices from her clinic in Upwey. Amanda feels strongly connected to the area, the abundant nature and her local community..

Traditional Chinese Medicine is rooted in the idea of living in harmony with the changing seasons and our surroundings\, and adjusting our energy accordingly. If we live seasonally, we feel more balanced, centred, grounded and connected with nature, others and ourselves.

In treatment sessions, Amanda combines acupuncture, bodywork, dietary and lifestyle advice with Chinese herbal medicine. She tailors her approach to each client and how they present at the time of treatment.

Amanda has a strong belief in living in harmony with the land, seasons and nature, and helping others to feel in tune with them through her work. She finds joy in enabling people to feel as healthy as possible through this wonderful medicine..”
