Jess

Therapeutic Arts Practitioner

Jess creates safe, relational, trauma informed spaces for clients to play with creative processes to explore their inner worlds, emotions and lived experience.

She specialises in gleaning the treasure from life’s threshold spaces of Motherhood, Adolescence, life purpose and grief.

Her journey to be a therapeutic arts practitioner began in my 20’s as a consumer, searching for meaning and a way to find expression for her rich and intense inner world. Jess found creative processes and art making to be a voice for what needed to be spoken and for way-finding.

As a mature aged student, Jess completed her Bachelor of Fine Art at RMIT and then the Masters of Therapeutic Arts Practice at MIECAT. She is now able to support and offer clients what she needed all those years ago; to feel safe, to be heard and to trust the deep unfurling unknown that comes from therapeutic art making.
